On several occasions I have suspected that the reason the tom turkey wouldn't come in to my calling was because he flew down with a bunch of hens. I switched up with my calling and used the lost call rather than the mating call. I also made the call a little higher pitched like a yearling bird. Sometimes it works and you call the hens in to you and the gobbler will be right there with them. Two of my longest spurred birds were taken that way. Give it a try! Bill in KC
