"I have fallen in love with tents for turkey hunting.  Many times where we hunt the birds come in silent and many times 30 minutes after I have quit calling.  They used to catch me moving almost every time as they snuck in on me.  Not any more!  I carry around one of those little tents that you can buy at Wal-Mart for $60.  It has back straps on the carrying case and I carry it around with me.  When I decide to work a bird it takes me about 30 seconds to set it up.  I take a small stool with me and get comfortable and call.  After I quit calling I just relax and look around.  I don't worry about the bird seeing me or having to reposition my shotgun.  I've taken my two birds from the tent for each of the last 3 years.
